Tinnitus is a condition that results in the annoying ringing of the ears. To properly treat and resolve this problem you should find out what is causing it – whether it be ear wax or structural problems in your inner ear.
Also, keep in mind that tinnitus maybe a symptom of something more like – otosclerosis, allergies, high or low blood pressure, neck or head injury or trauma, or diabetes just to name a few. Or it could be because of any medications you may be taking – whether it be as simple as aspirin or more complex antidepressants or sedatives.

Never-the-less, here are some natural remedies that could help you treat and/or alleviate the problem all together:

*Exercise regularly

*Eliminate smoking and alcohol consumption

*Reduce the stress in your life

*Eat a handful of sesame seeds every day

*Reduce your salt intake

*Some herbs suggested to help are Feverfew, Hawthorn, Ginkgo biloba. There was a study done on Ginkgo that is the most promising herbal treatment for tinnitus. May I suggest Natural Relief From Tinnitus” by Paul Yanick, Jr., Ph.D.

*A couple of drops of Castor oil in the ear has been said to do the trick

*Add more Spinach to your diet – more zinc

*Eat Sunflower seeds every day

*Chew something chewy yet hard to increase the blood circulation

*It has also been said that a drop of onion juice a couple of times a week until
relieved

*Have some fenugreek seed or passion flower tea for a week or two – you should notice a difference

*Try to avoid foods like saturated fats, salts, sugars, coffee, alcohol, dairy products, and processed foods.

*Eat more fresh and raw fruits and vegetables in your diet.

*Make sure your diet includes vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, zinc, potassium, choline, magnesium-rich foods

*Relaxation and meditation techniques have been said to help

*The miracle of Breast milk – many swear that it will fix tinnitus right away and keep it away!

*Have a teaspoon of Apple Cider vinegar and honey every day

*Put a warm compress to your neck – it will increase blood circulation to the ears

*Be sure to consult your doctor before taking herbs though. For the most part I do not recommend dosages or amount because everyone is different.

*Always be sure to consult your doctor if you have a current or pre-existing condition before trying natural remedies. Herbal remedies are just as potent as over the counter medicines so always be sure to ask your doctor about them before trying them. Natural remedies are sometimes not best for all people.
