If your baby is drooling like crazy, is fussy and more cranky than usual, and doesn’t want to eat then s/he could be teething!! So, what can you do for a baby who is teething…here are some things that I’ve come across… *Try to rub your baby’s gums with a cool wash cloth *Rub your clean finger against their gums * Give your baby something cool - like a teethers or teething rings. The massaging teething rings are the best. *Try teething biscuits * Rub a little olive oil on their swollen gums *Put a soft damp cloth in the freezer and have your baby suck on it when it is frozen *Get a teething blanket *If the child is OVER a year old you can rub a little honey on their gums *Try a frozen banana - I did this with my oldest and she loved it!!! Also, try it with a frozen carrot *And there are always those over the counter baby teething gels - Although, personally I wouldn’t use them too often. *Try to keep them busy - it’s a tough time but they all seem to get through it!! *Always be sure to consult your doctor if you have a current or pre-existing condition before trying natural remedies. Natural remedies are sometimes not best for all people. Filed under: Natural Remedies ![]() Comments:
