I have a spray bottle of apple cider vinegar that I wash all my vegetables and fruits with. I pick apples in the fall and I know the person that grows them. Even if pesticides are not used apples still sometimes have the waxy coat depending on the type of apple it is.

I am concerned about the pesticides used on apples, so I always peel apples even though I know I am throwing away some of the nutrients. Sometimes I scrub them, but there's such a waxy coating on most of the apples that I feel like some of the pesticide is still left in the wax residue. How do you handle the pesticide issue?

Do not peel the apple because that is a really important and healthy part of the fruit! In fact the best concenration of the flavonoid quercertin is found in the peel. And when you eat it you are providing your body with a super defence against free radicals even more so that vitamin C! And this will help prevent dviruses and bacterial from forming and multiplying!! [...]
