I have so many nice and fond memories of when I was a child. We use to go to an amusement park - a few actually that are no longer there any more and they would have the old crank penny press machine that I liked to do - they never cost a penny to do so though - more like a quarter at the time. You could smash and elongate the pennies and even engrave stuff on it. I was in junior high and I went with my family but also 2 of my friends so we went to the penny machine to engrave the names of our latest crushes on them :) Kinda silly but I think that I still have one of an old crush that we did…I had like 4 or 5 with different names on them…never did actually go out with them in school - just a crush I suppose. I have them somewhere - I should really try to find them because I know that they are probably with a lot of old school memories!
