I am actually looking to get new Curtains for my kitchen. I am changing the color this year because it has been the same color for 10 years and I never really liked the color all that much anyways. So I am getting new accessories to go along with it. And in my opinion blinds and curtains can really make that room something special or just alright and there are just so many to choose from out there…all sorts of different colors, fabrics, styles, patterns…. And then you have the blinds. Do I want shades or mini blinds or just the sheer curtains. The curtains and window accessories can really make an ordinary room look simply beautiful. I am thinking of trying to find that bright yellow curtain that really brightens up a room. Maybe a gingham because those always look really nice in the kitchen or the bathroom. It will give it that country sort of look and feel which is what I am going for. Nothing flowery this time and no dark colors. And I think I will try the shades as opposed to mini blinds - really make things different :)
