I was talking to my best friend the other day and we were catching up on life. We were college roommates and have been best friends ever since! Our friendship has changed a lot over time. We have been through serious things together. I helped her through her divorce and then she was there for me when my mother died. When we both started having kids we sort of grew apart. Mostly because we could never find time when we could both talk on the phone or get together without toddlers screaming in the background. With all of our children in school now, we have gotten closer and have our weekly lunches out together! During this particular lunch we are talking about our kids. She has decided that she needs a home security Pennsylvania system. I didn’t know why she would bring this up, seeing that we live in the safest suburbs in the country. She said it was not to keep people out but to keep her children in. She is so worried about them sneaking out now that they are teenagers.
