When it comes to vacations…the key is to find that vacation that you are going to enjoy the most. And the place that you stay at is just so important in assuring that you will have that great vacation stay. Ride That Bike!

There are just so many great ways to get your exercise theses days. You do not have to just go to the gym to get that great workout. In fact, I prefer to do my exercises outdoors. I would much rather go outside and soak up a little sun and get some fresh air walking, running or riding those beach cruiser bicycles. And I do not live near a beach…because you do not have to live near a beach just to right a beach cruise. These bikes are just great for those short commutes or fun and recreational rides. The key is to get the one that suits you best and there are so many styles and colors also to choose from.

If you go to XYZ Bikes you will find a beautiful selection of beach cruiser bicycles for only $88.00. So, at a price like that you really can not beat it. And when you go to their sites you will find that they have a huge selections also. Personally, I like the 26″ XYZ Hermosa beach cruiser, pink with flowers. I just prefer the pink bikes but they have yellows, greens, whites, blacks….you name it. And they have a great selection of lady beach cruisers too. You will find that their site is very user friendly also and very well organized so you can click Ont he category that you like and go from there. Now there is really no excuse not to go out and get that great bike and start doing some exercise that you have probably been putting off for years!

Pie Contest

I just made a great apple pie this weekend…I don’t know if it would win the Great American Pie Contest but it was really great! Although mine never really come out looking nice. They taste really good though and personally I think that is all that matters. But if you do like to enter pie contests and you make a mean pie then why not make a nice stay out of it and enter yours in the first annual great american pie show. Make a nice getaway vacation in Branson, Missouri and st a the Hilton Promenade or the Hilton Branson Convention Center. Al Roker will be there from the Today Show and the whole this is sponsored by the Taste of Home Magazine.
But you have to hurry up because the rooms are going quickly! What a nice vacation it would be in my opinion….and don’t we all need a vacation….hey … maybe you will even win the contest! I have an anniversary coming up just around the time that this is all happening and I would love to go there…even if you don’t enter the contest I am thinking that there may be taste contests that would really be fun to do. That in my opinion would even be better than going to a wine tasting..a lot more calories though…but worth it

Healthy Get Away

Who would not like to get away during this time of year. It is cold outside and the weather is just horrible…why not just get away from the daily stresses and worries and chores of your life to do something fun and be someplace other than where you are at right now. And you can go with your family or just make it a get away trip for the two of you to finally recover from all the holiday stresses and messes! I would just love to stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing…this place looks incredible!! Although the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel looks just as nice too! I would dine with the best food and then I would take advantage of their live entertainment and 49 live theaters!! And my husband would probably go to the museum…he likes the museum as opposed to the gorgeous golf courses that they have there too. I would love to take advantage of their Winter Escape Package and take advantage of the many attractions that they are having right now like the 2009 Polar Plunge or the 3rd annual ice carving!

I think we all need that Winter escape right about now and Missouri just sounds so incredibly nice. I think that people should get away at least once a year if not just to spend time away and go to nice restaurants to get away from everything in your life that causes you stress.
