I remember when my mom use to go shopping for the holidays she would always put things on layaway. And then somewhere along the way…the whole layaway concept just kind of disappeared…well it is back and the Sears Layaway is in full swing. With the economy the way it is and the budgets getting tighter and tighter in the households each and every day…the layaway thing I think may be getting more popular this holiday season as it should be. It will allow people to pay in little amounts for things they would like to get rather than putting everything on the credit cards racking up the credit card bills!

Now you can create that holiday wish list and fulfill family and friends wish lists because layaway is the easy way to pay for your items….set them aside and pay a little at a time. There is plenty of time before Christmas day. Then when you pay it off you can pick it up! And I don’t know about you but my mom just loves the clothing at Sears….especially their turtlenecks and their sweatsuits. She loves the quality of them so that is one thing I will be getting. And then for my dad…well…craftman tools is something I have to get because I think I have been getting them for him since I was 6! For my sister….I don’t know….She just got married and a new place so housewares is always nice. Maybe some kitchen appliances or bath towels…I love their bath towels!
