*ALWAYS read the labels

*Do not take herbal products when you are taking other medicines

*Do not take herbal products when you are pregnant or nursing

*Do not herbal products without first consulting your doctor

*Get them from reputable companies

*Do not rely on them exclusively

*Do not believe companies or websites that have bold and outlandish claims.

Violets

Who would have thought that this pretty flower would have so many medicinal benefits!!! Just toss them in with your salads - I find that to be the easiest way to eat them. They’re not the tastiest but in a salad…not bad.

Violets have been known for treating:

*Glaucoma

*Viral infections

*Varicose Veins

*Hay fever

*Allergies

*Hemorrhoids

*Helps treat hot flashes in menopausal women

*Sinus infections

*Congestion

*Eczema

*Breast Cancer

*Helps treat and get rid of cold sores

Apple Cider Vinegar

Trying to list the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar is like trying to list the benefits of Tea Tree Oil. It is nearly impossible. But I’ve come up with a little list of things that it is wonderful for. Personally I have 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar A Day. It tastes HORRIBLE. But I put it with apple cider so it’s tolerable. And I also drink it through a straw because I’ve read that it could take the natural enamel off of your teeth which will create dental problems you don’t want. Make sure you brush your teeth after taking Apple Cider Vinegar.

Here are some of the Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar:

*Helps ease the itch and rid chiggers

*Helps soothe and heal a sunburn and minor burns

*Helps with head lice problems

*Have a teaspoon before meals to help treat bad breath

*Great for your joints - Great for arthritis and sore muscles

*Great anti viral and anti bacterial agents

*Helps with hot flashes in menopausal women

*Helps treat insect bites and skin allergies

*Helps relieve and heal poison ivy, sumac and oak

*Helps prevent heart disease and stroke

*Use a cup in as a hair rinse - makes your HAIR REALLY SHINY!

*Gives you relief of pollen, food and pet allergies (I need that)

*Treats your sinus infections

*Helps reduce the risk or tumors

*Help rid warts

*Reduces total body stresses and tension - helps with headaches

*Helps heals your wounds and skin abrasions

*Helps retain your youth

*Can act as an appetite suppressant and aid in weight loss

*Helps prevent osteoporosis

It is a wonderful remedy and should be used more often. However, as with everything - make sure this is OK for you.

My mother had cancer and she beat it but I don’t think that she would ever go through the basically torture of Chemo again. She always said her whole experience is impossible to describe to anyone and if you haven’t gone through it then you really do not understand what a person goes through while trying to beat their cancer.
