Chinese Cordyceps
Posted on 05.25.07 by Your Natural Remedies @

I had never heard of Chinese Cordyceps until now but it interested me quite a bit. I love looking for great natural remedies and natural products that have amazing properties and qualities. Sure there is a time and place for modern medicine but I truly believe that so many natural remedies are completely overlooked. If anything these natural products, that could be growing in our back yards, could offer great preventative treatments. And I always think it is so much easier in the long run to try to prevent something rather than to have to treat it!.

Chinese cordyceps is a powerful grass-like fungus, first grown and found in the Tibetian mountains. It was called the “divine gift” because it has amazing and some say unmatched immune system support and stimulation. And it was only in 1980 that American pharmacists realized that cordycepsa’s many invigorating properties.

*It acts as a natural anti-inflammatory

*Helps enhance your libido

*Improves fertility

*Super immunological restorative properties

*Helps resist bodily infections because of adaptogen which helps promote homeostasis (the endocrine system balance)

*Great for respiratory problems like allergies and bronchitis

*Can assist athletic recovery and performance

*Promotes vascular elasticity

*Can improve your heart muscle strength

*Act as a a powerful detoxifier.

Benefits of Reishi
Posted on 05.25.07 by Your Natural Remedies @

I love finding out the health benefits of different herbs and foods and the latest I just read up on was Reishi. Reishi is a mushroom that is actually one of the most used herbal remedies in the Traditional Chinese Medicines. It has been used since the 2nd Century B.C. has is known as the herb of good fortune. It has only really been widely used since the 1970′s though because it was mainly just used for people of royalty and outsiders and commoners were restricted from using this special mushroom.

Here are some of the benefits of Reishi:

*Has anti-inflammatory qualities

*Great for respiratory problems like allergies and bronchitis

*Can help reduce blood pressure issues related to hypertension

*Aids in cancer remission because it acts as hypoglycemic agents

*Helps strengthen your immune system

*Help with anti-aging scavenging free radicals which will slow down the aging process and keep your cells healthy

*Protects your liver

*Great for anxiety because it helps instill calmness

However, always be sure to consult your doctor before taking any sort of natural remedies or herbs especially if you have pre existing conditions. And remember….everything in moderation. Too much of anything is not good for you.

*May prevent heart disease

*Helps treat fatigue

Licorice
Posted on 04.12.07 by Your Natural Remedies @

As with all things and I just can not stress this enough you want to make sure that you take things in moderation because even the healthiest and simplest of foods and substances can be toxic if taken too much and to often.

Do not take licorice for more than 7 days in a row and if you have high blood pressure do not take any form of licorice at all because it will complicate that problem.
